History
Comprising the département of Lot-et-Garonne in the région of Aquitaine, the Diocese of Agen (Latin: Dioecesis Agennensis; French: Diocèse d'Agen) is a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in France. Its metropolitan attachment has shifted over time: suffragan to the Archdiocese of Bordeaux under the old regime, to Toulouse from 1802-1822, and to Bordeaux again since 1822.
