The Diocese of Versailles is a Latin rite diocese erected on 29 November 1801 under the Concordat, today corresponding to the Yvelines department in the Ile-de-France. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Paris. Its seat is the Cathedral of Saint-Louis in Versailles.

History
Centred on Versailles and headed by the Bishop of Versailles, the Diocese of Versailles (Latin: Dioecesis Versaliensis; French: Diocèse de Versailles) is a Latin diocese of the Catholic Church in France. It was established in 1801; before then, its territory had belonged mostly to the Archdiocese of Paris and the Diocese of Chartres.
