The Diocese of Portsmouth is a Latin rite diocese covering Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands and parts of Berkshire, Dorset and Oxfordshire in England, erected on 19 May 1882 from the western portion of the Diocese of Southwark. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Southwark. Its seat is the Cathedral of St John the Evangelist in Portsmouth.
