The Archdiocese of Westminster is the principal Latin rite see of England and Wales, established in 1850 and covering London north of the Thames. Its seat is Westminster Cathedral. Archbishop Richard Moth, formerly Bishop of Arundel and Brighton, was appointed by Pope Leo XIV on 19 December 2025 and installed as the twelfth Archbishop of Westminster on 14 February 2026, succeeding Cardinal Vincent Nichols.
