Cap-Haïtien's archdiocese counts among its suffragans the Roman Catholic Diocese of Les Gonaïves (French: Diocèse catholique romain des Gonaïves; Latin: Romano-Catholicae Dioecesis Les Gonaïves), a see erected on 3 October 1861.
