Syro-Malabar Catholic eparchy in Tamil Nadu, India, erected 18 January 2010 by dividing the Eparchy of Palghat, and a suffragan of the Archeparchy of Thrissur. It serves about 15,700 East Syriac-rite Catholics across the Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Karur, Salem, Tiruchirappalli, Thanjavur, and Nagapattinam districts, with Holy Trinity Church in Ramanathapuram (Coimbatore) as its cathedral.

History
Created in 2010 by bifurcating the Syro-Malabar Catholic eparchy of Palghat, the Eparchy of Ramanathapuram sits in the Ramanathapuram locality of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Its territory covers the districts of Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Karur, Salem, Tiruchirappalli, Thanjavur and Nagapattinam, having been extended to Salem and Trichy on 10 October 2017. Mar Paul Alappat is the present Bishop of Ramanathapuram.
