The Diocese of Kabale is a Latin Catholic diocese in southwestern Uganda, erected in 1966 from the Diocese of Mbarara. It is a suffragan of Mbarara and is led by Bishop Callistus Rubaramira.

History
Carved out of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mbarara on 17 April 1966, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kabale (Latin: Kabalen(us)) serves the Catholic Church in Uganda as a suffragan of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Mbarara.

KABALE DIOCESE INTENSIFIES PREPARATIONS FOR EPISCOPAL ORDINATION OF MSGR. BONAVENTURE BOSCO GUBAZIRE.
Kabale Diocese is preparing for the episcopal ordination and installation of Msgr. Bonaventure Bosco Gubazire as the fifth bishop of the diocese. The ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Rushoroza Cathedral. A fundraising dinner held Friday evening at the Marriott Hotel Nsambya raised 360.18 million Shs. to support the event, according to the Diocese of Kabale.
