    Caritas di Lanciano-Ortona has welcomed four new volunteers for its civil service program. The volunteers, all from Lanciano, are university students Anita, Matteo, Mattia, and Francesco. This marks the first time the diocesan Caritas has opened its doors to civil service participants. The four positions in Lanciano were made available through a project shared with other locations within the Abruzzo dioceses. The volunteers will assist with various tasks, including managing inventory, organizing products, distributing goods, and handling bills. They will also provide psychological support and companionship to those in need. The volunteers noted that the service offers practical experience for their future careers.
