The Diocese of Lansing is a Latin Rite see in central and southern Michigan, erected in 1937 and suffragan to the Archdiocese of Detroit. Bishop Earl Boyea submitted his resignation on his 75th birthday in April 2026 but continues as ordinary pending a successor.
