The Diocese of Lira is a Latin Church diocese in northern Uganda, established in 1968 from the Diocese of Gulu. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Gulu, led by Bishop Sanctus Lino Wanok since 2019.

History
Serving the Lango sub-region of northern Uganda, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lira (Latin: Liren(sis)) is centered on the city of Lira within the ecclesiastical province of Gulu. Its territory spans eight civil districts over an area of 12,030 square kilometers.
