History
Erected on 27 November 1960, the Diocese of Ciudad Valles (Latin: Dioecesis Vallipolitana) is a Latin Church jurisdiction in Mexico. It sat within the province of the Archdiocese of Monterrey until 25 November 2006, when it joined the province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of San Luis Potosí. The bishop's cathedra stands in the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the see city of Ciudad Valles, San Luis Potosí.
