History
The Diocese of Zamora (Latin: Dioecesis Zamorensis in Mexico), a Latin Church jurisdiction erected on 26 January 1863, forms part of the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Morelia. Unusually, its episcopal see at Zamora, Michoacán holds two co-cathedrals: the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of Mary and the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
