The Diocese of Sibu is a Latin Catholic suffragan see of Kuching covering central Sarawak in East Malaysia. It was erected in 1986 and has been led by Joseph Hii Teck Kwong since 2012.

History
Pope John Paul II erected the Diocese of Sibu (Latin: Dioecesis Sibuensis; Malay: Keuskupan Sibu; Mandarin: 诗巫教区) in 1986, with (the late) Dominic Su Haw Chiu as its first shepherd. A Latin Catholic territory in the Malaysian state of Sarawak, it reaches from Sarikei to Mukah and is suffragan to the metropolitan Archdiocese of Kuching. The Sacred Heart Cathedral in Sibu is its cathedral, the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Saint Joseph are its principal patrons, and Joseph Hii Teck Kwong has governed the see since 12 February 2012.
