History

Brunei's territory is covered by the Apostolic Vicariate of Brunei Darussalam (Latin: Vicariatus Apostolicus Bruneiensis), a Latin Catholic jurisdiction led by an apostolic vicar. Cornelius Sim, the first to hold that office, was created a cardinal in 2020 and died in May 2021.
