The Diocese of Miri is a Latin Catholic suffragan see of Kuching covering northeastern Sarawak in East Malaysia. It was a vicariate apostolic from 1959 and was erected as a diocese in 1976.

History
Northeast of the Archdiocese of Kuching lies its suffragan, the Diocese of Miri (Latin: Dioecesis Mirensis; Malay: Keuskupan Miri; Chinese: 美里教区), a Latin Church diocese in Malaysia. Its territory takes in Miri, Bintulu, Limbang, Lawas, Tatau and Marudi, with St. Joseph's Cathedral in Miri serving as both diocesan cathedral and the bishop's seat. Brunei once fell within its bounds, but on 21 November 1997 it was detached to become an apostolic vicariate in its own right.
