History
Okigwe, a city in Imo State within Nigeria's ecclesiastical province of Owerri, is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Okigwe (Latin: Okigwen(sis)). As at 2016, the diocese counted 43 missions, 219 lay religious (33 brothers, 186 sisters), and 198 seminarians.
