The Archdiocese of Cotabato spans Cotabato City and surrounding provinces on Mindanao, originating as the Prelature of Cotabato and Sulu in 1950 and elevated to a metropolitan archdiocese in 1979. Its suffragans are Kidapawan and Marbel, and Archbishop Charlie Inzon, O.M.I., was appointed in September 2025.

History
On Mindanao, the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Cotabato serves as a Latin Catholic metropolitan see of the Philippines. Its territory embraces Cotabato City, Maguindanao del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur, western Cotabato, and Sultan Kudarat, excepting Columbio and Milbuk, Palimbang. The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Cotabato City is its seat, and the Archbishop's Palace stands at 158 Sinsuat Avenue, Rosary Heights, Cotabato City.
