History
Since 1989 the Diocese of Piacenza-Bobbio (Latin: Dioecesis Placentina-Bobiensis) has served northern Italy as a Latin diocese of the Catholic Church, suffragan to the Archdiocese of Modena-Nonantola. It joined the historic Diocese of Piacenza with the territory of the diocese of Bobbio-San Colombano, which had briefly been united with the archdiocese of Genoa.
