History
Seated in the city of Gliwice, this Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in Poland (Latin: Glivicen(sis)) belongs as a suffragan to the ecclesiastical province of the Archdiocese of Katowice. Figures from 2021 indicate that roughly 89% of the population within its territory identifies as Catholic, though only 39% are practising Catholics.
