Latin-rite diocese in southeastern Poland, erected 25 March 1992 from an apostolic administration created in 1991, with territory from the Diocese of Lublin. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Przemysl. Its mother church is the Cathedral of the Resurrection and St. Thomas the Apostle in Zamosc, with a co-cathedral in Lubaczow.

History
A suffragan Latin diocese within the ecclesiastical province of Przemyśl in Poland, Zamość-Lubaczów (Latin: Dioecesis Zamosciensis-Lubaczoviensis) has as its cathedral episcopal see the Katedra Zmartwychwstania Pańskiego i św. Tomasza Apostoła, a World Heritage Site dedicated to the Resurrection and St. Thomas the Apostle, in the city of Zamość, Lubelskie. The diocese also holds a co-cathedral, the Konkatedra św. Stanisława dedicated to Saint Stanislaus in Lubaczów, Podkarpackie, a Minor Basilica, the Bazylika św. Antoniego z Padwy in Radecznica, Lubelskie, and a second World Heritage Site, the Cerkiew św. Paraskewy in Radruż, Podkarpackie.
