History

In the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores, the Catholic Church maintains the Diocese of Angra (Portuguese: Diocese de Angra, Latin: Dioecesis Angrensis), a Latin Church diocese. Its see is located in Angra do Heroísmo on the island of Terceira, and the current Ordinary is Armando Esteves Domingues.
