The Diocese of San Juan Bautista de las Misiones is a Latin rite suffragan see in southern Paraguay, erected in 1957 and covering the departments of Misiones and Ñeembucú. Its current ordinary, Ósmar Pedro López Benítez, was appointed in 2025.

In the south of the ecclesiastical province of Asunción, a province that takes in all of Paraguay except the pre-diocesan missions, lies a suffragan Latin Catholic see, the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Juan Bautista (de las Misiones), known in Latin as Dioecesis Sancti Ioannis Baptistae a Missionibus.
