History
Virginia is home to the Diocese of Richmond (Latin: Diœcesis Richmondiensis), a Latin Church diocese of the United States belonging to the province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Baltimore. Its present bishop, Barry C. Knestout, received his appointment from Pope Francis on December 5, 2017.
