Latin-rite diocese covering Kosovo, immediately subject to the Holy See. Erected as the Apostolic Administration of Prizren on 24 May 2000 from the Diocese of Skopje and Prizren, and elevated to the Diocese of Prizren-Prishtina on 5 September 2018. Its cathedral is the Cathedral of Saint Mother Teresa in Pristina, with the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour in Prizren as co-cathedral.

History

Centered in the city of Prizren, the Diocese of Prizren and Pristina (Latin: Dioecesis Prisrianensis e Pristinensis, Albanian: Dioqeza Prizren Prishtinë, Serbian: Dijeceza prizrensko-prištinska) is a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in Kosovo. It began in 2000 as an apostolic administration, split off from the Diocese of Skopje and Prizren, and was raised to the rank of diocese in 2018.
