Our Lady of the Mississippi Abbey is a monastery of Cistercian (Trappistine) nuns near Dubuque, founded in 1964. The nuns chant the Liturgy of the Hours seven times daily in the abbey church; liturgies are open to the public. It is a religious community, not a territorial parish.
