St. Pius X Seminary

St. Pius X Seminary is the minor (college) seminary of the Archdiocese of Dubuque, housed at Vianney House on the Loras College campus. Founded as St. Raphael Seminary in 1839 by Bishop Mathias Loras, it took its present name in 1954. It forms college seminarians for the Archdiocese of Dubuque and Diocese of Des Moines; it is a seminary, not a territorial parish.
