The Metropolitan Archdiocese of Gorizia is a Latin Church see in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy, founded in 1751 after the suppression of the Patriarchate of Aquileia and made metropolitan in 1830. Archbishop Giampaolo Dianin was appointed on 14 May 2026, and the Diocese of Trieste is its sole suffragan.
