The Diocese of Santarém is a Latin rite see northeast of Lisbon, erected by Pope Paul VI in 1975 and suffragan to the Patriarchate of Lisbon. It marked its 50th anniversary in 2026 and is led by Bishop José Augusto Traquina Maria, who took office in 2017.
