The Catholic Bishops' Conference of Ethiopia has invited the faithful to pray for the health of Pope Leo XIV following his recent surgery.
The conference stated that the Pope has successfully completed his surgical procedure and is recovering well. In a statement released on behalf of the clergy, religious men and women, and the Catholic faithful in Ethiopia, the bishops expressed solidarity with the Pope and the universal Church.
The bishops asked the faithful to pray for the Pope's total restoration, strength, and long health to support his continued apostolic service.
