Archbishop Claudio Maniago meets parishioners in Gimigliano

Archbishop Claudio Maniago met with parishioners in Gimigliano during a pastoral visit to discuss community life and shared responsibilities. The assembly included members of the pastoral council, parish groups, choirs, and the Perpetual Rosary group.

During the meeting, Archbishop Maniago told the community that baptism provides a person's greatest dignity, which precedes any specific role or assignment within the Church. He stated that bishops and priests are called to serve the people of God, but fundamental dignity belongs to every baptized person.

The Archbishop also addressed those serving the parish, noting that community service is an expression of Christian vocation rather than a favor granted to the priest. He encouraged parishioners to view their involvement as a responsibility to be a living part of the Church.
