Blessed Father Moye School
The Archdiocese of San Antonio has opened the Blessed Father Moye Catholic School on the grounds of the Moye Retreat Center. Located in the Castroville area along the Highway 90 corridor, the school serves as a junior high and high school option to complement the elementary education provided by St. Louis Catholic School.
The school began the 2026-2027 academic year with a sixth-grade class. Administrators plan to add one grade each year until the institution serves students from sixth through 12th grade. The curriculum uses classical methods and Socratic teaching to emphasize the Western artistic canon and intellectual traditions.
The school's inaugural campaign raised more than $3 million. Contributions included support from the Ewing Halsell Foundation, the Brackenridge Foundation, and the Kate Briscoe Marmion Foundation.
