Catechist training courses begin in the Archdiocese of Seville

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

The Archdiocese of Seville began training courses for catechists this weekend. Two programs, ‘Ser catequista hoy’ and ‘Pedagogía y metodología en la catequesis’, started last Saturday.

Óscar Díaz, the diocesan delegate for Catechesis and episcopal vicar for the New Evangelization, said these initiatives aim to support catechists in their mission by deepening their vocation and improving pedagogical and methodological resources for the transmission of the faith.

The sessions take place on Saturday mornings once a month at the Archbishop's Palace in Seville. The next scheduled session is on November 14, which will cover a course on catechesis and disability.
