Diocese of Nice launches church preservation campaign

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

The Diocese of Nice has launched a campaign to fund the maintenance, restoration, and security of its churches. The diocese directly manages more than 70 churches and spends an average of 750 000 € annually on their upkeep.

The campaign follows a 2025 collection of 189 000 € raised through Christmas collections and the Chantiers d’églises program. Donors who are taxpayers can receive a tax reduction equal to 66% of their contribution, up to 20% of their taxable income. The diocese provides tax receipts to facilitate this reduction.
