God counts on you is the theme for Diocesan Church Day 2026

The Spanish Episcopal Conference has announced "God counts on you" as the theme for Diocesan Church Day, which will be celebrated on Sunday, November 8. Bishop Vicente Rebollo, who leads the secretariat for the support of the Church, and director José María Albalad presented the campaign on Monday, October 26, at the headquarters of the Spanish Episcopal Conference.

The campaign draws on messages from Pope Leo XIV during his visit to Spain in June. During that visit, the Pope emphasized that the People of God must contribute their individual gifts to a common mission, noting that faith must translate into a daily commitment to transform diocesan realities.

The campaign encourages baptized members to renew their commitment to a participatory Church through prayer, the donation of time, personal skills, and financial support. It also seeks to increase awareness of Church activities across the country while reinforcing commitments to transparency and accountability.
