Havel, Trump, and the Church

The Forum 2000 Conference took place in Prague this October with the theme "Reimagining the Power of the Powerless." Participants included politicians, diplomats, activists, and journalists from approximately 100 countries.

The forum was established in 1996 as a joint initiative of Václav Havel, Yohei Sasakawa, and Elie Wiesel. This year's speakers included Lech Wałęsa and the president of the Dominican Republic. For security reasons, the conference is held at a conference center in Vyšehrad on the right bank of the Vltava River.
