Los Remedios Parish honors four parishioners as Angels of Los Remedios
The Archbishop of Seville, José Ángel Saiz Meneses, presented four parishioners with the title Angels of Los Remedios during a ceremony at Los Remedios Parish on October 25. The distinctions recognize service across four age groups: an older adult, an adult, a youth, and a child.
The recipients include Gerardo Cuberos, director of the parish Caritas; Rocío Domínguez, director of the choir; and Rocío Mateos, a youth catechist and summer camp coordinator. The award for the child category was given posthumously to Fernando Recio, which his parents and siblings accepted.
Parish priest Francisco Ortiz stated the recognition aims to thank and reinforce the commitment of parishioners to the parish. During the event, Archbishop Saiz Meneses celebrated the Eucharist before presenting the awards and speaking with the honorees about their pastoral service.
