Leo XIV names clickbait the enemy of real communication

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Pope Leo XIV has selected "A New Gaze: Paying Attention in the Age of Clickbait" as the theme for the 61st World Communications Day. The Vatican’s Dicastery for Communication announced the theme on September 29, the feast of St. Gabriel the Archangel.

The World Communications Day will take place on May 9, 2027. The Vatican plans to release the full papal message regarding this theme in January.
