Most Holy Redeemer celebrates anniversary, connection to Our Lady of Fatima
Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church celebrated the 25th anniversary of its current church building alongside its annual devotion to Our Lady of Fatima. Bishop Erik Pohlmeier celebrated the Holy Mass and led a candlelight procession around the parish parking lot.
The parish, established in 1962, holds special Masses every May 13 and October 13 to honor the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal. During the procession, parishioners recited the Rosary, with each decade spoken in different languages to reflect the community's diversity. The event concluded with a final blessing from Bishop Pohlmeier.
Father Adam Izbicki, the pastor, noted that the anniversary coincided with the October 13 feast day.
