Parish in Vaqueros to host addiction formation meeting

Nuestra Señora de Aparecida parish in Vaqueros will host a training meeting on addiction on Saturday, October 24, at 17:30. The event will take place in the León XIV parish hall and features a presentation by Lic. Estefanía Girón.

The meeting provides a space for the community to learn, pray, and reflect on how to support those struggling with addiction. Participants will also share a snack.

The parish organized the session in response to concerns expressed by Pope Leo XIV regarding the need for community prevention, scientific care, and close pastoral accompaniment to address the suffering of young people.
