Pratibha Career Guidance Program “Know Myself” held at Karwar
The Education Commission and Bala Pragathi Kendra Services organized the "Know Myself" career guidance and self-discovery program for 114 students at St. Joseph’s Old PU College Hall in Karwar on October 16, 2026.
Resource persons Fr. Benson Fernandes and Sr. Saritha D’Souza, the coordinator of Bala Pragathi Kendra Services, led sessions using interactive talks, group activities, and self-assessment exercises. The program encouraged students to identify their personal strengths and interests to make educational and career choices based on their own aptitudes rather than peer influence. Participants also worked on developing communication skills and confidence through collaborative learning.
Fr. Gabriel Lopes led the opening prayer and delivered the welcome address. After the sessions, Fr. Benson and Sr. Saritha distributed certificates of participation to the students. Fr. Gabriel Lopes concluded the event by thanking the organizers, staff, and students.
