Janusz Konieczniak has managed the Caritas Diocesan hostel in Sosnowiec for 14 years

Janusz Konieczniak has directed the Caritas Diocesan hostel on Kaliska Street in Sosnowiec for 14 years. The facility, which formerly served as a religious orphanage, now provides shelter for adult men without permanent housing.

Konieczniak manages the night shifts and oversees the residents. He noted that providing housing alone does not always prevent men from returning to the hostel, as some struggle with personal changes and substance use after leaving the facility.
