Visite du pape Léon XIV : ce que je retiens, par Mgr Turini

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Bishop Turini shared his reflections on the recent apostolic visit of Pope Leo XIV to France, highlighting the Pope's focus on strengthening faith and defending life.

During his flight from Rome to Paris, the Pope described himself as a disciple of Christ. Bishop Turini noted that the Pope chose an apostolic visit over a state visit to emphasize his mission to strengthen the faith of others. At the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, the Pope addressed young people, telling them to place Christ at the center of their lives.

In Lourdes, the Pope met with sick individuals and representatives from associations that serve the ill. After listening to testimonies from those in pain, the Pope spoke in favor of life, stating that what is legal is not always moral.
