Santi Massimo e Giorgio is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Italy, dedicated to Saint Maximus of Aveia and Saint George. It serves as the episcopal seat of the Archdiocese of L’Aquila. The cathedral dates from 1256 and was designed by Sebastiano Cipriani in the baroque style. It is protected as Italian national heritage. The see was erected in 1257.
