Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church is located in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Established on October 10, 1972, by Bishop Paul F. Tanner, the parish began with seventy-three founding families. The first Mass was celebrated on Christmas Eve, 1974. Over the years, the parish has grown significantly, with the construction of a recreation center, an Education Building, and a Cultural Center. In 1999, the Palmer Catholic Academy was dedicated, marking a significant milestone in the parish’s history. Monsignor T. Leo Danaher served as the founding pastor until his retirement in 2003, followed by Monsignor Daniel B. Logan, who modernized the parish and expanded its facilities.
