The Diocese of St. Augustine is a Latin Rite diocese covering seventeen counties in northeastern Florida, including Jacksonville and Gainesville. Erected in 1870, it is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Miami and is led by Bishop Erik T. Pohlmeier, appointed in 2022.
