Queen of Peace Catholic Church is located in Gainesville, Florida. Established on May 20, 1987, by Bishop John J. Snyder, the parish began with 200 souls and grew into a close-knit community. In 1995, construction began on a new church and school. The current church was dedicated on October 7, 2001, by Bishop Victor Galeone. Fr. Al Esposito has been the pastor since June 2018. Queen of Peace is known for its stewardship approach, titling 10% of income to support other charities and encouraging parishioners to live a life of gratitude and service. The community warmly welcomes all and strives to meet the needs of its members and the broader community.
