St. Matthew Catholic Church is located in Jacksonville, Florida. Founded on November 14, 1947, by Father Joseph Corde, the parish initially served a community of nearly 250 families. The first church building was established using a relocated military chapel from Camp Blanding. Over time, additional structures were added, including a Parish Hall and school wing. St. Matthew's continues to be a vibrant faith community, offering Masses daily and on weekends, as well as various ministries for spiritual growth and service.
