Declared a mission on April 15, 2007 with Fr. Cyriac John as first mission director, the community purchased a former Presbyterian church at 300 West Cano Street and was consecrated as the diocese's 25th parish by Bishop Mar Jacob Angadiath on May 15, 2011. The parish has grown from about 20 founding families to 76 families; English Holy Mass is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Sundays, and the Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help follows the Saturday 8:30 am Mass.
