Knanaya Catholic mission serving about 100 families in Westchester and Bronx counties, established by the Archdiocese of New York in April 1997 after Syro-Malabar Masses began in Mount Vernon in 1993, and transferred to the St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Diocese of Chicago in 2001. Sunday Holy Qurbana is celebrated at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 670 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers.
