Knanaya Catholic community established as a mission on March 17, 2002 and elevated to a parish on July 31, 2010 by Mar Jacob Angadiath; its church at 124 N 5th St, Montebello was purchased from the Montebello Orthodox Church and serves about 90 Knanaya families in Southern California.
